Information About Competing in the Car Show
Vehicles eligible for the 2025 Volkswagens on the Green include any vehicle Volkswagen ever produced, any vehicles using any engine ever produced by Volkswagen, and any vehicles ever produced by Audi or Porsche.
Each Vehicle will compete in a class appropriate to its year, make, model, or modifications. See the table of classes.
Note: there are four classes not listed. These are Going the Distance (vehicle that came the greatest distance to compete), Best Water-Cooled, Best Air-Cooled, and Best in Show. Your vehicle will automatically compete in at least two of these categories without needing to do any additional paperwork.Each Registered Show Vehicle Owner will receive a packet of ballots. A Show Vehicle Owner may vote for one vehicle in each class, or choose to vote for one vehicle in as many classes as they feel comfortable voting for.
There will be a popular vote in which Show Vehicle Owners, volunteer staff and the general public vote. One ballot for the most popular vehicle can be obtained by visiting the Volkswagen Enthusiasts of Colorado Headquarters canopy.
You can register your car online and pay with a credit card or PayPal on the website store.
The online price to register your vehicle is $30.
You may wait to register until the day of the show, but the registration fee will be $40 and must be paid in cash (No bills larger than $50 will be accepted).
