Volkswagens on the Green (VWOTG) is the annual outdoor car show hosted by Volkswagen Enthusiasts of Colorado (VWEC). In 2026, the event returns for its 31st year, bringing together Volkswagen, Audi, and Porsche enthusiasts, families, and the broader community for a relaxed, park‑based gathering.
VWOTG is known for its welcoming atmosphere, wide variety of vehicles, local vendors and sponsors, and a setting that encourages attendees to explore, connect, and enjoy the day at their own pace.

🚨 Registration Deadlines
Non‑Food Vendors: Registration closes May 1.
Show Vehicles, Preferred Parking, and Swap Meet: Registration closes May 7.
These deadlines ensure our admin team has enough time to prepare and mail the required postcards. Each postcard serves as your proof of purchase and includes your assigned Vehicle Number or Vendor Booth designation.

⚠️ Important Traffic Notice — Colfax Marathon
The Colfax Marathon takes place the same morning as VWOTG. Attendees traveling from north of Colfax may encounter road closures, detours, and delays.
We will post recommended detour routes here as soon as the City releases the final closure map.
Weather & Venue Overview
Volkswagens on the Green is held rain or shine.
If Foothills Recreation determines that the soccer fields are too wet, or too stressed by drought for use, the event will move to the nearby parking lot southwest of Pierce Street and W Bowles Avenue. Any location changes will be announced on this page.
The show takes place on grassy fields that may be uneven in spots. Restrooms and hand‑washing stations will be available on site. Cellular service is typically available; Wi‑Fi is not provided.
