Day‑of registration: $50 (cash only)

Check-In & Postcards

If you registered online, please bring your VWOTG postcard with you on show day.

Your pre‑filled windshield card will be ready at the registration canopy.

Forgot or lost your postcard?
Email vwadmin@govwec.org and we’ll send you an email with your postcard image. You can print it or show the email at check‑in.

Judging & voting

VWOTG uses a peer‑to‑peer judging system.

Each registered show vehicle owner will receive a packet of ballots and may vote once in as many classes as they choose.

Some special awards, including Best Air‑Cooled, Best Water‑Cooled, and Best in Show, are registerd automatically and do not require extra paperwork.

Day-Of-Show registration & Payment

Day‑of show vehicle registration is $50 and must be paid in cash.

We do not have card or electronic payment capability at the field. Cash and paper registration already keep our volunteers very busy, which is why online registration is so helpful.

Weather and Venue Conditions

The show takes place outdoors at Clement Park, so please plan to dress comfortably for the weather. Colorado conditions can change quickly, and we recommend bringing sun protection, layers, or rain gear as needed.

The event is rain or shine. In the event of wet or unfavorable ground conditions, Foothills Park & Recreation District may require show vehicles to be relocated to a nearby parking lot within the park to help protect the turf. If this occurs, the show will continue as planned.

Food trucks will be on site throughout the day, offering a variety of food and beverages for purchase.

Restroom facilities are available nearby, including three portable restrooms on site (one ADA‑accessible) with hand‑washing stations. In addition, permanent park restrooms are located a short walk from the event area.

Important Reminders & Park Rules

  • Please arrive early to allow time for check‑in and vehicle placement.
  • Drive very slowly within the show area and parking zones to help prevent vehicle‑to‑vehicle and vehicle‑to‑pedestrian accidents.
  • To help protect the grass and ensure we’re welcomed back next year, burnouts, prolonged idling by lowered vehicles, and any activity that damages the turf are not allowed.
  • Clement Park is alcohol‑free, and glass containers are not permitted anywhere in the park.
  • Well‑behaved pets are welcome! Please keep dogs on a leash at all times and remember to clean up after them.
  • Display your windshield card clearly during judging hours.
  • Help keep the park clean by using provided trash and recycling containers.
  • Most importantly, relax and enjoy the show — we’re glad you’re here!
