Information About Competing in the Show
Vehicles eligible for the 2026 Volkswagens on the Green Car Show include:
any vehicle Volkswagen ever produced
any vehicle ever produced by Audi or Porsche
any vehicle using any engine ever produced by VolkswagenCost for Online Registration for Show Vehicles is $35
Each Show Vehicle will compete in a class appropriate to its year, make, model, or modifications.
Each Registered Show Vehicle Owner will receive a packet of ballots. An Owner may vote for one vehicle in each class, or choose to vote for one vehicle in as many classes as they choose.
Note: there are three classes not listed; Best Air-Cooled, Best Water-Cooled, and Best in Show.
Your vehicle will automatically compete in at least one of these categories without needing to do any additional paperwork.Online Registration closes at midnight May 7th to allow proof of purchase/entry tickets to be mailed.
The day of the car show the registration fee will be $40
Day of show fees must be paid in cash (No bills larger than $50 will be accepted).- If you bring your show car by trailer please park in the south or west parking lot, then drive to the East entrance.

General Information, Guidelines and Request
Weather: The show will be held rain or shine. If Foothills Recreation says the soccer fields are too wet, the car show will move to the parking lot Southwest of Pierce and Bowles.

We would like to get the deposit back and we want to be allowed to use the park next year. Please be respectful of the grass. No prolonged idling! No Burnouts! No reckless driving!
Respecting Volunteers and Attendees. When Car Show Volunteers give instructions about where to enter the show, guide vehicles over the ramp, or indicate where to park, please follow their instructions or guidance. Be patient and kind.
Vehicles with loud mufflers or sound systems should park far away from the registration and Car Show Headquarters canopies, so show vehicle owners and VWEC volunteers working at registering show vehicles and answering attendees’ questions can hear each other.
